Bodyworks, Porirua is the sister gym of Bodyworks, Thorndon in Wellington.
This successful external and internal refurbishment of a tired furniture retail warehouse adds some truism to the saying "Making a silk purse out of a pigs ear".
The revitalised 1600 square metre floor area now houses the Bodyworks gym with child minding facilities, weights, cardio machines, aerobics studio and a spin room on the ground floor with yoga studios and further cardio equipment on the mezzanine floor.
The use of accent colour, mirrors and Bodyworks graphic images, both on the exterior and interior of the building provides an enhanced and motivating environment in which to exercise in.
